It has S-Video, component, RF, and composite inputs convenient for all your video sources. The LC-15B6U-S is and EDTV that is capable of 480p and is a good match for that Progressive Scan DVD player you have. EDTV is a step closer to HDTV.

Sharp makes very nice LCD comparing to other CRT TVs. They are marketed as high end systems. I Bought opened box at CompUSA for under $300 otherwise is an expensive TV.
