| MrBlues's Full Review: Sharper Image Ionic Breeze SI627 Air Purifier |
I purchased mine through an eBay auction for much less than the normal retail price. If you can find one at a lower price, then get one of these because they do work well. Instead of covering up bathroom odors, the Ionic Breeze actually attacks them and neutralizes the offending molecules. In addition, it's effective at removing dust and pollen from the air. The integral night light is very low power, which I like because it provides just enough light and doesn't ruin my dark adaptation.
The directions indicate that it will need cleaning once every 2-4 weeks. But I've found that once per week is what it needs in my home. Of course, I live in the dusty desert southwest, so my situation isn't the norm.
