After several weeks of having shortness of breath and constantly being tired, I decided to see my doctor. I visit him twice a year. My scheduled appointment was not for a month, but I thought I would probably drop dead if I waited more than a week. So, my doctor took me in the morning after I called him. He examined me and said I was as strong as a bull and hung like one too, but to be one the safe side he wanted me to take a blood test. After waiting a week and paying him $75, my blood results came back. My cholesterol level was high, real high. The doc said my cholesterol was 260. Normal level is 200. That puts me in a 50 % higher chance of having a heart attack.
The doctor said it was strange that my cholesterol raised that quickly. He could not understand why.
I knew why. I told the doctor I have been on a steady diet of fast food and sitting on my as.s in front of the TV. Another thing the doctor did not notice was the fact that I started to develop a bad case of man boobs. Most men get the spare tire around their waist; I gain my weight on my chest.
The doctor said he wanted me to start taking some pills, exercise for about 10 minutes a day and start eating a low cholesterol diet. I agreed to everything but the pills, as soon as doctors start giving you pills, that is a good sign death is just around the corner. I told the doctor I wanted to exercise 20 minutes a day and eat low fat, low cholesterol diet and check back in three months. I figured if I’m still alive in three months my cholesterol should drop some.
I started walking every day for about 15 minutes; I do 25 jumping jacks and 5 push-ups.
I started reading all of the labels for low cholesterol and bought all my meat lower in fat.
The only fattening food I desired was hamburgers. I remembered seeing a fat reducing George Foreman grill at Walgreen’s for $25. So, I figured I would give it a try.
George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine GR10
The Foreman grilling machine is small, but versatile. This model has a bun warmer so you can toast your buns while your food is cooking. The non-stick surface washes clean very easily. After cooking, I just take a wet towel and wipe it down and put it back in the box it came in.
I cooked my burger in about 4 minutes this amazing thing has all of the grease pouring out, cooking at such a fast pace and it surprised me how much my meat shrank. This large burger shrank almost half the size because the grill squeezes out all of the greasy fat.
I was surprised after all that grease pouring out the burger still tasted good, not great, but good. From years of experience of eating greasy burgers, I did notice a slightly blander taste.
Grill
Both the top and bottom of the grill cook, this makes the cooking time fast. Plug it in and it starts heating up. There are no settings on this grill, just a power light. When the light is on that means the food is still cooking. When light goes of that means it’s time to eat.
Drip Tray
The tray slides under the unit and catches all of the extra grease coming from the meat.
Plastic Spatula
Comes in handy for cleaning any food particles from the surface grooves.

Short in length for safety
The Bottom Line
The grill is simple to use, it takes up little space and it practically cleans itself. I have made burgers that taste good.You will see all the grease that you would normally be eating. The food does not taste as good as an outdoor grill, but if this product helps me live one day longer it is worth the $25 I paid for it.
