| nbunnie's Full Review: Gateway Solo 1450 PC Notebook |
Do not, I repeat do not waste your hard earned dough on this machine. I bought mine direct via the internet from Gateway and it arrived with a jammed CD tray door. About four months later the keyboard's "m" key and space bar stopped working completely. After returning it to gateway and recieveing a machine with a new keyboard and chasis, the machine worked fine for about four more months then the same exact problem occured again so I returned it once again and they "fixed" it and returned my computer once again. Now the machine is out of warrenty and I am dreading the day that is breaks again. I have read from consumers elsewhere of the same design problems. I only wish that I would have heeded their warnings before I purchased this product. Did I mention that they also made me pay shipping on the returns and that the screen is loaded with bad pixels.
Buyer beware!
