Insanely user friendly.......Best purchase in a while!

Pros: style....expandability....price....ease of use...size....weight....performance
Cons: no USB 2.0 or Fire Wire, but uploads fast anyway.
The Bottom Line: Much happier with my purchase than I would have imagined. If you are hesitant to get one, don't be....this thing is awesome.

I run on occasion and workout at a gym on a regular basis. I always like to listen to my own music when I train. I had been using a sony discman for a while, but I finally decided that I could not tolerate the skipping CD's anymore.........time to buy an MP3 player.
I searched around, as I always do when buying electronics, and read all of the reviews I could find. This is where I ended up. Almost every review was incredibly positive. The negative reviews seemed to come from those who are not very "electronics friendly". Time to buy.......
Right out of the package I was impressed. Very cool design, and very light weight. A quick pop in of the supplied battery and we were off. It comes pre-loaded with about 15 songs......kind of cool, as it gives you an immediate opportunity to give it a test drive. Everything was a snap......simple button layout...the riostick (joystick)is great. EQ is a nice bonus.....helps you tune in your headphones for individual listening preference. Quick setup......30 minutes from opening the package, loading the software, uploading my music library, and disecting the Cali's every function, I was ready to take it for it's first test at the gym.
Ran on the treadmill at fast pace and didn't even notice it was hooked on my waistband. When lifting, the Cali didn't get in the way of machine padding, mobility, etc...
So far I'm really happy with my purchase.....covers all of my bases..........except the test of time........but so far so good. I'd recommend this to anybody who loves to listen to music on the fly. If you can't operate this thing, then you are in idiot.
