Pros: Great sound, all the features that you would want as an MP3 player only.
Cons: The FM tuner is just a waste of a space the online registration sucks
The Bottom Line: All the features that you would want as an MP3 player only, seems to be good value for your money.

| pness's Full Review: Rio Cali Sport (256 MB) MP3 Player |
I just purchased the Rio Cali 256 Meg it has great sound and seems to be a good MP3 player considering that it is my first and hopefully my last for sometime. The FM tuner is just a waste of a space as it will not pickup a radio station unless I put tinfoil on my head, stand on one leg and point North into the wind (and thats in the city). So if you are looking for a MP3 player with an integrated radio that works well this is not the unit for you.
Downloading was ok once I go the USB cable pushed fair enough into the Cail as I was trying to be gentile not that the Cali is flimsy but it did need a good push (more than I expected). The transfer software worked well, however the only pain is that it tries to access the net when you start and the online registration sucks.
If you can afford it get the 256 version of the Cail then get, I personally would have regretted getting the 128 even though they are both expandable the extra memory onboard is a big plus on the 256. Finally the 256 Cali has all the features that I wanted (part from the radio), however I was able to make a good purchase based on the reviews that I was able to read thanks to all.
