| xkalelx's Full Review: Sony CDX-MP80 Car CD/ MP3 Player |
ive got a lifted jeep with a tuffy stereo security console between the seats. it has the head mounted at a 60 degree incline (so as best to be seen by the driver(and get rained on)) anyway, this and the mp70 (and the other sony tray style head that is $800) have the G-protection. all other stereos i tryed in this fasion would work fine until the jeep was actually moving, it would skip on a dime. now that i have the mp80 in there, i just recently went through a creek bed and over a few fallen timbers and it didnt skip once. i bought the el8a bazooka for the extra punch i wanted. (might i add is a breeze to install and configure with this head unit).
the mp80 is VERY user friendly, and was the easiest stereo ive installed. the hi-pass and low-pass configurations were easy enough to figure out with the sub hooked up.
i also love having about 11 hours of continuous music on one cd (mp3).
