| vzqk50's Full Review: Sony Walkman D-NS921F Personal CD Player |
It is a great CD player, but is really designed strictly with the jogger/walker in mind. Even biking with it is cumbersome. I wear cargo shorts and throw it in a pocket. Even with all of the motion it still doesn't skip. It handles even the cheapest media, and runs for hours and hours on Ni-MH batteries. I recharge once or twice a month. The Sony burning software is the worst. It will get through 90% of the process and fail - after 3 hours of processing all of the 400 files. Then you have to start all over. There is no playlist manager, so you have to identify the files individually all over again! Their software is required to get the advertised number of songs on a disk. MP3 files work seamlessly, and I use this method 90% of the time. I use Sony's noise cancelling headphones with it, and the sound quality is outstanding. Deep, thumping bass, and resounding treble. The headphones that came with the unit are sufficient, but I thought they were uncomfortable. Overall, I would highly recommend this model!
