| gus4all's Full Review: Sony Handycam® DCR-TRV70 Mini DV Camcorder |
I am an independent film maker who maker who needed a camera at around a grand that could hold its weight against its professional series big brothers. I first looked at the Canon Optura series, and although was impressed, this Sony i bought put them to shame. The colors are crisp, the zoom is just enough, it has little noise and if you use some good lights you could get footage that is near broadcast quality. This is perfect for the poor film maker, and even better for the average photographer. With it's additional shot gun mic the sound is beautiful, and wonderfully couples with the sharp and clear picture. Buy the biggest battery they have and you can film for over 10 hours !!! Thats almost obscene. Defenitely a great camera, and worth owning !
