Pros: No pros to speak of when the TV won't turn on.

The Bottom Line: The sound and picture of the TV were satisfactory, but lasted less than a year. Terrible customer service. That's a lot to pay for a TV that lasts one year.
furrismurda's Full Review: Sony Grand WEGA KDF-60WF655 60 in. HDTV LCD TV
Thank you for letting me express my complete disappointment and anguish with my 60 Sony Wega and the Sony Customer Service Department. I bought this TV a year and a half ago and have only gotten to enjoy watching it for less than a year. Eleven months after purchase, the screen went completely blank. I called Sony and was referred to a Sony authorized repair facility in my area. The dealer charged me $ 89 for technical time but the parts were under warranty. Within 2 months the TV would not come on again. Therefore I had to lug it into the dealer a second time. AGAIN, he had it in the shop for a month and supposedly fixed the problem. Three months later the same problem occurred.
I called the Sony Customer Service Department to hopefully figure out a solution, and they recommended another Sony Authorized Repair Facility in my new area and said that if the problem seems to be a repetitive thing that they would consider some options. I told them that I thought I bought a lemon off of the production line and wanted a new TV. Well, that was a waste of breath. Anyway after dropping the TV off at a different repair facility, I get a call two months later to let me know that the repairs would cost $ 204.00. (For the exact same problem as the last two times!) Now my total cost in repairs for this TV (that I havent really gotten to enjoy) totals just under $ 400.
I called the Sony Customer Service Department for a fourth time to explain the new scenario. I had to repeat the entire story three times to three different people and still didnt get anywhere. The only solution they offered was to pay 20% of the $ 400 in repair costs. This doesnt even compensate for the months I spent without the TV, or the pain involved in disconnecting it from the entertainment center and lugging it to the repair store (three times). Wow, what a deal I got.
To anyone who is thinking about buying one of these Sony Wega TVs, I HIGHLY recommend you research other brands and go with a company that has a solid reputation for customer service.
