The Bottom Line: would recommend the Sony KP 57HW40 57 in. TV to anyone. If you are willing to pay the price you will not be unsatisfied.

My husband and I decided to purchase a large screen TV when we bought our new home in March 2002. My aunt and uncle bought a 57" Sony wide screen and invited us over to check it out. We were just in awe and over all loved it.
The next week we were heading out to stores to purchase our own. I must admit the price is up there, but well worth it! The picture is crisp and clear, very easy menu options, stylish appearance. After buying this TV we had to purchase a killer surround sound to go with it.
I can not explain to you when you pop a DVD in, turn the lights down low, the surround sound up how the experience is. Lets just say you are more then in the movie. You want to be in "Star Wars" or how about racing in "Fast and the Furious", here’s your chance to be part of the action!
It is a rather large TV, so do check your room size before purchasing. They do not look that large in the store, yet when you get home it is another story.
