Video Quality
I have had this TV for about a month now and its picture is beautiful. There are many settings you can choose from on the TV video option on the TV and the remote. For example there are 4 different setting in general to test out on the TV, Movie, Pro, Vivid, and standard. Depending on what you like in your TV this picture quality will provide it, although remember we are not talking $2000 TV picture quality here we are talking $300-400 quality, but still for the amount you pay it is very good quality. You can also change the screen from widescreen to full screen if you are one of those widescreen fans and you TV dosent let you make your shows widescreen. Also you can set the parental controls on this TV so that if you dont want you children seeing some of the things your TV can access then this is another feature you may find coming in handy. But what about the Audio on this TV.
Audio
The audio on this TV is great, i have no problem hearing it from my bed in my room from about 10 feet away with it on about 4-5 notches in out of about 50. This thing obviously has some blasting power. You can also go into your controls and change the Bass, Treble and the balence from speaker to speaker. The speakers are both hidden behings plastic plating with many holes in it, the still displace enough sound for you to hear from far away. So obviously the Audio on this thing is almost flawless.
Size
Although this is a great functional product its size gives it drawbacks, this TV weighs close to 100 lbs and will take 2 large men to move it in and out of your house. Personally i think it is smartest to just opt for internet ordering and getting it shipped to your house since this way you have 2 large men ready to move this thing where you want it. Also because of its weight you will want a rolling and strong table to keep this baby up and moving. This will help prevent the problem of if you want to move it and try to lift it, you wont pull your back out or just collapse under the weight. But what about the screen of this bad boy?
Screen This things screen is a nice 27 inches which in my opinion is plenty, unless you are planning to have a large football party, but in general this screen size is perfect for almost any room. This TV has a flatscreen NOT an LCD or plasma screen but a flat plastic glass screen. Do not get confused about Flat Screen descriptions. Although there are stories of problems with colors on this TV i have had none yet.
TV Ports
This TV was perfect for me because I have my DVD player, VCR, Game systems and more to plug in and because this TV has 4 video inputs it makes it all possible to plug into my TV without extra devices to convert all of it. There is also 1 cable input in the rear of the TV with an S video input. This TV is one of the best in the category of Ports since most TV's are lucky to have 3 video inputs let alone 4! But am I going to like this remote??
Remote
The remote for this TV is great, it will operate all of your accesories to plug into the TV as well as the TV itself, all it takes is a quick click of some buttons and your up and running. This remote is a little light to me but everyone has their preferences. And although it is not a big contribution I still find it one of those appreciated things, this remote comes with 2 double A's so you can start this baby up and it will be running without having to buy some batteries or anything! Also many of the buttons glow in the dark so that if you really want to watch a movie in the dark you can still see your remote without having to turn the lights on or use a flashlight to fast forward or change channel. Also since the remote has a menu button so you can make all the preference changes to your TV there is also a nice navigation area with nice large arrow buttons for you to navigate with.
Recommendations
I would recommend this TV because it is not too expensive, really nice to watch, and in every aspect is pretty much great. The only con is its weight and size but other than that this TV is amazing for the money. I would recommend this TV to anyone who just wants a great TV and dosent want to go for the High Definition LCD's. Go for it, I hope you too have a great experience with this TV!!
