| Rocks2k's Full Review: Sony KV-27FS12 27 inch TV |
When my TV went bad a few months back I was forced to buy a new one. My old TV was a Sony and all of my surround sound goodies are Sony so I wanted to get another Sony TV to keep it all matched together. I had seen comercials for this model and decided to go check it out for myself. One look at this TV and its picture and I was sold.
The TV itself is very sharp looking and looks nice sitting in the Living room. The silver coloring around the flat screen makes this TV look great. Although the looks of this TV are great the picture that it produces is even better.
Eventhough this is Sony's entry level WEGA, it produces a very superb picture. This model is a 27 inch Trinitron with a flat screen. The picture (Once it is tuned in to your liking) is outstanding. On basic TV watching the picture is very clear and sharp. Pop in a DVD and you will not believe how clean the picture is. You can pick up every detail in the background of a DVD movie unlike some other TV's.
This TV also has some very useful options. It comes with three A/V inputs (one component video, one composite video, and one composite/S-Video combination input), along with an A/V output. Those options suited me for the extra hook ups that I have and should suit most others. The menus are very easy to operate. A cool feature that I find useful is the ability to store picture settings. You can store different settings depending on the room condition (Dark room or a well lit room) to meet your viewing needs.
In the end this TV is well worth the money. I would highly recommend buying this TV. You wont regret buying this and the Flatscreen will make you very happy with the quality of the picture. For those people who like to read the side of the box and see what the key features are of the TV I have included them below:
