Pros: Awesome flat screen picture, 16x9 mode
Cons: Crackly speaker
The Bottom Line: You will not find a better picture without spending big bucks for digital television. If you don't need picture-in-picture, this is your TV.

The picture on this television is crystal clear. There is very little glare due to the flat screen. The 16x9 mode for widescreen DVD's in wonderful, but it must be selected from the menu (it is automatic on higher models). The sound from the speakers is great, but I have a bad speaker that goes in & out from time to time. It does not bother me though since I use a home theater system for sound.
I have read many bad opinions on other sites, but my experience with this television has been wonderful. The only thing bad about having such a great picture is that it accentuates how bad most television reception in through cable television. I would imaging a satellite dish would give a perfect picture.
