If you like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and many other Playstation One games, you might still need your PSOne.
While Sony advertised better grap-hics when played on PS2, this is nearly an impossible feet. Perhaps maybe faster load times, but not graphical improvement. It just isn't possible on many of the games. In fact, many of the games look worse on the PS2, showing limitations of programming for the older sytem.
I also have a Gameshark (http://alexvideo.homestead.com) which I recommend to anyone. My PSOne is actually the first Playstation with a parallel port, and beats the hack out of the newer ones without this port, as you have to change disks out constantly. But even if you have a newer PSone, they make a setup for it too. To tell the difference, look at the back of your playStation. If you have a PSOne, the white one, not grey, you need not bother and just get the cd version. If yours is grey and has a long parallel port in the back, you might be able to find a used one at your local video game store, or at http://alexvideo.homestead.com
