Pros: Good space saver.

Cons: Poor quality control.

The Bottom Line: Look somewhere else for a DVD/VCR combo.

I bought one new unit, took it home and it was defective. The store gave me a second unit and it was defective too. I took the third unit home and set it up. After playing a DVD on it, that I played on my old unit, the DVD stopped playing. After spending over a week to get a player that worked, it seems that after I finally got it working, the unit wrecked one of my Kids' favorite movies. I thought that I would pay a little more for a reputable name like Sony to get a reliable product, but this was not the case. I expected much more from Sony and they didn't deliver.
