| frydchickenleg's Full Review: Sony VAIO V505BX PC Notebook |
My computer has the problem of power shut down. I connect Sony after reading the review and was inform to connect from repair to customer service because the fact that my computer doesnt even have power so they cant charge me $23 for tech. guide through. When I talk to customer service they said that they could not held the problem so I got transfer to Technical support, which they could do anything for me except toke down my name and give me a ref number. When I ask them about how they find defect, they talk about sending in your computer for evaluation at the price $99.99 not including shipping and taxes. When I talk about the motherboard being broking, it would $699.99. It computer value is not even worth it. If I send in my computer I would be charge fix or no fix at $99.99. The decision to not fix the computer for the motherboard the data would not be known. There suppose to be a group that held look at static in San Diego, when I ask if they look at data from BestBuy or USACOMP to determine to they dont. BestBuy charge $69 for evaluation. I would go there to ask them but Sony does not take that into consideration. I used to love Sony, because of their reputation but now I can't say about how they held their products. Tech. Support could not even give me any number outside of their area between customer service, repair, and support.
IF your computer has defect problem you better complain or they just going to let it go. Even if you do complain, what are the chances they would recall a defect computer?
I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT SONY reputation DOESNT STAND UP TO THEIR PRODUCTS IF THEY DONT STAND BEHIND IT. What kind of warranty is one year when in the long run the defects develop or occur?
