edarev's Full Review: Sony XM-D400P5 Car Amp
The amp does a super great job of powering my 2 Sony Xpold 10" subs. More than enough power unless you really want to go hog wild! You can hear me coming down the street at least a block away. I have the amp mounted to the sub box in my trunk which makes installation really easy. The extra weight of the amp keeps the sub box in place so you don't have to mount the box to the car (no holes to drill). I have it all hooked up to my Sony CDX-CA810X car stereo.

Sony gets a bad wrap from car audiophiles I speak to, but I can't think of anything bad to say about my Sony system. Sony has always been dependable for me.
