Altec's newest speakers are a little pricy, but well worth the 300$ US. This is the absolute best Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound speaker system available for the PC.
The subwoofer gives the greatest bass I have ever felt. The two tower satellites are detachable, creating four satellites for a surround sound experience. The controls are very intuitive, and are all positioned on the front-right satellite. The controls include: bass, treble, volume, surround, and center.
DVDs will sound better than they do on your home entertainment system. Games will sound incredible. CD audio will beat out your most expensive Sony Stereo System. For the best experience, purchase a SoundBlaster Live! Platinum sound card and plug these babies into the back.
You will not regret buying them, SO GO OUT AND BY THE ADA890s NOW!!!!!!!
