My experience with BA-790

Pros: Excellent Sound Quality, Plenty loud enough.
Cons: Haven't found any yet
The Bottom Line: If you want an excellent set of speakers at a reasonable price, these are the ones to get. I would buy these again.

I have to admit I bought these on a whim because I had donated my previous speakers to my sons computer. I had been looking at different speakers for a couple months and nothing really caught my eye. One day I was at Best Buy and they had these for $20 off so I started checking them out. I was skeptical since they were marked down so far at that they were the first set of speakers in the row which usually isn't a good sign. I started messing around with them and eventually turned them up all the way (who doesn't want to be the center of attention ?), well the first thing I noticed was no distortion at full volume. This sort of thing never happens in my experience with audio equipment. I thought someone actually put some thought into the design of these. As a matter of fact I've started building my own amps due to the fact of quality in audio components lately. There was a set of Altec Lansing right beside these so I turned them up all the way also, they were a little louder but so much distortion you couldn't hear what the singer was saying. I went through the row for awhile and the only thing that sounded better in the store was a $300 set of Klipsh, I hope I spelled it right. A few other pairs seemed to have a little better bass in the store. Well I have them hooked up for about 2 weeks now and they sound better in my computer room than they did in the store and I have no complaints with the bass response at all. These things sound amazing, I am quite impressed and I would even say they are worth paying full price if you can't find them on sale and I never say that. If anyone buys these and are disappointed I'd like to hear from you because these things definitely worth the money. Also these speakers are plenty loud enough, trust me I like loud music. I didn't use the instructions to hook them up so it is pretty simple. They seem built pretty solid. The only complaint is the wires plug into the front of the Sub-Woofer but I put it under my desk so it isn't a big deal for me. They have two controls on them volume and bass. I've played about everything on these from Rock to Classical to Rap and it all sounds good.
