I received these for a Christmas gift - asked for a pair of speakers for my computer. These were a nice surprise.
15 watts per speaker, or 75 watts total power, might seem a bit low, but these things can very pump out very high volumes with little or no loss in sound quality. It can also play at lower volumes still sounding very good.
The attached remote control is also nice. I have it on my desk next to the monitor - convenient.
This can also be connected to a TV/VCR stereo system relatively easy with an RCA Y-connector, not using the surround sound (well, you could use a splitter...), which is nice if you have a special event and want to plug in some good speakers for your TV.
Of course, there's no easy way to connect these to a DVD player or home stereo system without a computer. Even with a receiver, you won't get the RCA or stereo jack outputs that these accept, so you'll basically need to feed any of that through your computer (you can use an external DVD player with digital output with a SB Audigy or similar card that has SPDIF input).
My only real gripe is the center speaker. It doesn't really seem to do anything. I'm not sure why; if it's just how Surround Sound speaker systems generally work, if it's my sound card (SBLive! 5.1), or what, but it seems a bit strange to have a dead speaker sitting there.
But overall, this is a great sounds system for music, movies, and anything else you might want for your room or office.
