Pros: Nice styling, PLENTY of bass, Great sound quality overall, well built.
Cons: Great high and lows, but midrange is a bit flakey.
The Bottom Line: Great three piece subwoofer system with sound that will blow you away, even at high volumes. Bass will blow you away as well, but literally.

| sinclairaw's Full Review: Cyber Acoustics CA-3560 2 Speakers |
About two weeks ago, I decided to move my nice Aiwa stereo away from my main computer. Before then, I had hooked my computer into the audio input of the stereo and had great sound. What do you know, I still do!
I ran into Fred Meyer, madly scavenging through speaker setups in search of a good, inexpensive system with a subwoofer. After considering several less expensive setups made by Cyber Acoustics, I decided to splurge the extra $20 and buy these. Now, I'm glad I did.
The box says that the speakers have a total power output of 68 watts. Wow! That's easily half the wattage of a stereo system! When compared to other setups that brag about being 35 or 40, this one blows them away in sheer power.
The two satellites look great, being about half flat panel and half regular. The right speaker has a volume and bass control, but there's no headphone jack. My slight complaint about the sats are that the midrange is a bit flakey. For me, sound quality is more important than size, so I wouldn't have minded at all if they had thrown in a nice four inch midrange in with the 2.5" tweeters instead of trying to combine it into one. Mind you, this is very picky.
Ah, the subwoofer. It looks impressive, with an eight inch mylar woofer and a dual ported sub that you can dry your hair with. If you're worried that this unit will not produce enough bass, don't worry a bit. I love bass and even I have to turn the bass volume down on songs with lots of low frequencies. I'm not sure of the frequency response of this system, but it goes plenty low-easily as good as many subs that come with home theater systems. And hey, it looks impressive too.
Overall, I give this system a very good rating. The bass pounds as much as you want and the highs are very crisp and defined. My only complaint is that the few hundred hertz where it switches over from the sats to the sub are a little flakey (yeah, that's the third time I've used that word, but I think it's the best way to describe it), but everything else is great. A smart buy for $40-$50.
