Pros: Great Price (even if you have to pay for it), great sound, well built

Cons: There are better sounding center channel speakers, but you will pay more for them.

I actually did not pay a cent for this speaker. I took advantage of a Polk Audio promo that gave you a free Polk CS175 if you purchased $500 worth of Polk speakers for your home entertainment center. My home entertainment center consists of Polk RT35 Speakers for the front channels, Polk RT15s for the surround speakers, the CS175 for the center channel, and a Polk PSW 120 Subwoofer. The speakers are driven by a Sony STR-DE835 Receiver with a Sony DVP-S330 DVD Player. The Polk CS175 does a great job of delivering voices in 5.1 and DTS format DVD movies. The sound is clear and crisp with no interference from the TV (Due to Polk's superior shielding) The construction is great. Very solid. Would I have bought this speaker if I didn't get it for free? YES. Its a great value for the $175 list price.
