Pros: Very cool looking stroller. Lightweight, big basket. Cupholder for MOM!
Cons: Doesn't allow baby to face you without car seat.
The Bottom Line: Overall I highly recommend this travel system. Although it is a bit pricey - it has a lot of nice features and is a little different from your average stroller.

| servin's Full Review: Peg Perego Atlantico Sportivo Standard Stroller |
Ok, I admit that I am totally opposed to the standard dark blue baby stroller. I wanted something a little different when I went looking for my stroller. That's when I found the Peg Perego Atlantico. Not only is this stroller lightweight with lots of great features, but it also comes in a very cool looking red and grey color. This stroller stands out in the mall . I have gotten so many compliments on what a unique looking stroller it is. Besides, my little guy looks great in red!.
What I Like About This Stroller
Color
As I said above, this model stroller is not only available in a very cool looking red/grey color, but also in a teal/black combination. Both are a refreshing, modern alternative to the traditional blue and white stroller. Both definitely stand out. My husband teases that the stroller is our son's muscle car. Besides it matches my Red Jetta.
Lightweight
For a travel system, this stroller is very lightweight. It weighs only around 17 lbs which is very lightweight compared with most strollers in it's class.
Easy to Use
I have never read the instructions that came with this stroller, that is how intuitive and easy to use it is. It collapses by pushing to buttons and pulling up on the handles. When collapsed it lays flat and can easily fit in the trunk or back of an SUV. (I drive a Jetta and it fits in my trunk with some room to spare).
One small complaint I have is that it seems that the buttons you need to push to collapse the stroller are a little low for someone with shorter arms like myself (I'm only 5 feet tall). I can still reach them and collapse the stroller, but this is a much easier job for my husband.
Cup Holders
This is probably my favorite feature of the stroller. There is a tray for Mom on the handle that contains a cup holder and fairly large tray. I use the tray for the baby's pacifier, (it is too small to fit a wallet) and my keys when I am out for a walk. The cupholder is big enough for a cup of coffee or bottle of water!
Large Basket
The stroller has a sizeable basket - I have had a diaper bag, pocketbook and several shopping bags in it at once. Very helpful for mall trips.
Car Seat Attachment
The Atlantico works with the Peg Perego car seat. This is also quite easy to use. The seat on the stroller fully reclines and the car seat snaps into two hooks on the stroller. When the car seat is in the stroller, the baby is facing the back, which means that you can see the baby while walking. This brings me to the only thing I really don't like about this stroller....
What I Don't Like
The only thing I really don't like about this stroller is the fact that the baby faces forward and there is no way to have the baby facing you unless you use the car seat attachment. Since my baby is only 3 months old and is likely to outgrow his car seat by 6 months, I will have to have him facing out at that point. I would prefer to have the flexibility to have the baby face either way in the stroller itself.
