gnatschke's Full Review: Shure E2C Consumer Headphones
I bought these about 3 hours ago ($100), and have already boxed them up for return. I was searching for higher grade in-ear headphones for my ipod. Yesterday, I read all the positive reviews on this site, and chose to blow my entire gift card on them. Although there was no distortion at full volume, I tried all of the supplied in-ear attachments, and was not truly satisfied. Visiting the Shure site, I found that they make high end earbuds costing up to $600?@!! That would put this model on the low end, but I expected more from $100 earbuds. Same sound expected from Sony or Phillips ($30-$40).
