Unable to take the load (Reply to this comment)

This shredder works fine for one or two pages, rendering them into confetti. But when it is loaded, a gear strips, rendering the shredder inoperable.
Given the ease at which I am able to get replacement gears from customer service, this does not appear to be an unusual occurrence.

Never would have thought... (Reply to this comment)

If I suddenly had to go shopping for a paper shredder I would not have known what to ask, or how to select. Thanks for this review.

Shredder Education (Reply to this comment)
by sliveroflife
Whoa! I didn't know there was that much to a shredder! If I ever got one, though, I'd look for the crosscut feature, too. Maybe I'm paranoid, but cutting things into long strips isn't really shredding them, if you ask me. Anyhow, I found this curious phrase "opaque plastic window" which made me think, "What's it there for if you can't see through it?" :)

I am with you, Paul. We should get it patented up... Back in November, I was gone for the whole month. I had asked my neighbor to keep mails for me. When I came back, they brought two grocery bags with my mails. But with only a few important mails in the bags; the rest are junks.

I actually get to be the first person to leave a comment on one of your reviews! Yaaaaayyyyyy!!!!
I have a quck question and a proposal for you. What say you and I invent a shredder that fits in your mailbox that will only shred JUNK mail, while leaving all the rest?
Neat, huh?
Cheers,
Paul
