mffan310's Full Review: Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM Lens
A couple of months ago, I bought a Canon 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III lens for my Elan 7E to introduce myself to telephoto photography. Since then, I've taken hundreds of shots with this lens on both my Elan 7E and my Digital Rebel. (Don't forget to read my Digital Rebel review!)
Yeah, it's not L glass, but it's sharp enough for Joe Consumer's average 4x6 prints. (And yes, I have used L glass, though I don't own a single piece of L glass yet.)
UPDATE: I just replaced this lens with a Canon 70-300mm DO IS lens. The 70-300mm DO lens blows the 75-300mm lens out of the water, but then again, it's also $1100 more. Worth it? Check your pocketbook first.
