The unit is thin and light and packaged with more care than the philips i bought a week earlier.The box that the philips came in was in bad shape and the unit ended up not working at all, so i had to return it. I ended up going with the panasonic after more research on the web and i love the unit so far it has only been a week.Ihung the bracket and my wife helped me hang the tv and i had it up in running in no more than a half hr.I am a union carpenter, but i think most pepole could do it themselfs with out getting pro install like most retailers push you to get for a big price. Also the philips i bought was deliverd and the panasonic i picked up myself if you can pick it up yourself this way you know it was handled with care and it must be transported standing up not flat.
