| kdm1709's Full Review: TiVo Series2â„¢ (140 Hours) 80-Hours Video Recorde... |
My old Tivo died (it was a Toshiba DVD/Tivo) so I bought this one to replace it.
I found the instructions to be oversimplified in that they did not have an accurate picture of my cable box so I could not figure out how to properly connect everything. I called their customer service (which closes at 8pm, by the way) and they were able to help me figure out the problem in about 30 minutes.
I love the Tivo itself. I can pick programs by title and record "season passes" so that I get all first runs of my favorite shows no matter when they come on. That is my favorite feature.
The menus are easy to navigate and pretty intuitive. You can change the volume of the Tivo sounds, which I also like.
