I haven't listened to music at home for years because the boom-box (a $150 name brand Stereo/CD/Tape player) in the kitchen was so tinny. I asked for, and got, the Tivoli Model 2 for Christmas and now I've re-discovered the radio and it's on almost all the time. It sounds warm and full and just great. It's a bargain for under $200. The only issue I have is that it won't really "crank up" for ear splitting jamming. But the wonderful, clear sound at decent volumes more than makes up for my self induced hearing loss. It will put out a decent volume to the point of not being able to have a conversation and still sound great. Tuning is precise and easy. It is solidly constructed, heavy, and looks great (not like a piece of cheap plastic). I've had it a couple weeks now and I am still in awe of how great it sounds for such a small, inexpensive unit. I turn it on every chance I get.
