| lilacattak's Full Review: Toastmaster T2000WC 2-Slice Toaster |
Got it for $7.99 before my 30% discount where I work, knowing full well it had been returned before me (I was the one who restocked it), but it was the only inexpensive model there, and, besides, I could return it if it truly didn't work. I looked inside, and it hadn't even been touched, from the looks of it- the twist-tie was still on the power cord, and everything was in its original wrapping.
Anyway, that was 5 months ago, and, for right now, I have not had the problem mentioned earlier with the knob not staying down. Generally, the toast toasts quickly and just how I like it.
I have only had one problem now and then: sometimes, when toasting narrower toast, the toast gets pinched in between the wall of the toaster and the wire which lays underneath the bread while toasting. I end up having to pull the toast out gently, and sometimes the toast tears at the corner.
All in all, though, since I didn't pay much at all for it, I'm satisfied with my purchase.
