Appalling Map Accuracy

Pros: Well designed hardware with good battery life.

Cons: Badly let down by inaccurate mapping which results in a virtually unuseable product. NOT recommended.

Spent a fair sum of the last map upgrade and was very disappointed.

The detail accuracy of the UK map (in my local area at least) is awful. (e.g. M4 junction 13 bears no relation to reality; Newbury centre is placed some 8-10 miles out of town! & Winchester town routes seem to delight in routeing you the wrong way down every one-way street!).

If it's as bad as this with an area I know, how can I trust it to guide me in unfamiliar territory?

I now only use it in conjunction with the points of interest facilty.

Can anyone recommend a similar product but with ACCURATE mapping?
