How would you feel if your bought a really awesome tv in everyway and was really glad it had the Stable Sound feature so the volume of the program your watching and the commercials are the same and find out it didn't work for jack.
One of the main selling points was that Stable Sound feature for me. But I'm writing this now cause after a year of dealing having an overall great tv I still am plagued with loud commercials and SUPER loud local cable tv commercials. Why are those so loud!
So it seems that as I'm playing my online video games this nice sized TV that sits next to my compter is great, but it terrible when I have to interupt my game and lower or mute the tv volume. It usually causes my to die in my games. If I quickly mute the volume I sometimes get so involved in my game I don't even noticed the commercial are over and miss part of my program. If instead I take the time to slowly lower the volume it feels even more tedious and will interupt my playing of Counter Strike even longer. I just wish the Stable Sound feature really worked then I wouldn't have to deal with that **it.
This problem might not seem very critical to some but in my situation its a real drag. How many times have you gotten yelled at when the tv was on too loud?
You know those slightly older movies they play sometimes and how they are softer in volume and so you have to raise the volume way up? Well how would you like to be bombarded with a volume practically twice as loud when you get a local carpet commercial booming at you. Stable Sound should and advertises it does take care of that problem, Bull. This feature is a ripoff and is probably only there to work as a selling point. I makes me wonder if there are any tv's that really have a stable sound feature that works.
I'm going to complain to the Toshiba company, for all the good that will do. What liars.
Oh and buy the way don't be fooled by all those little holes where the speakers are. They are there just to make you think the speakers are that big. They are less than one third that size if you look closly enough.
Otherwise this tv is working fine for me.
