| brenttl02's Full Review: Toshiba 20AF41 20 inch TV |
About 1 year ago, I decided to liven up my home entertainment system in my room. At the time, I worked at Best Buy and was able to look at all the TV's often. I already knew that I couldn't really have a TV that was too large, due to the size of the entertainment center I have. Therefore, I chose the 21" screen size. Low and behold the TV with the best look and features, proved to be a 20" Toshiba flat screen.
THIS THING IS A BEAUTY
The picture quality on this TV is unbelievable. I looked at the Sony Vega(pronounced Way-ga) for some time, but found that the picture was not nearly as crisp or as bright as the screen of the Toshiba sitting next to it.
After checking out the picture quality(most important feature to me), I started looking into the TV on the internet and found that the Toshiba offered many MENU type options, and numerous Input and Output slots.
To be exact:
Input: RCA set and headphones(located on front)
2 RCA sets + ColorStream RCA set
S-video
Cable/Antenna
Output: 1 RCA set
The TV also offers many other functions that can be made by the handy dandy remote control:
1.) V-Chip Channel rating or channel blocking for the family.
2.) BBE sound feature that makes sure the sound you hear is just as natural as the original sound recorded.
3.) Stable sound feature that will make sure those annoyingly loud commercials will no longer occur(this feature makes all sound outputted the same volume).
4.) SAP language selector (only available on certain programs).
5.)And many other features you would find on a $400 TV.
I personally consider the sound level of the TV to be quite touchy, but the quality of the sound is very nice.
I have a PS2 plugged into my front ports, an S-video coming from my computer, and my audio outputs going to my receiver. This TV amazes me everyday! It handles everything with flawless color and a crisp clear picture.
I wish I could award Toshiba for this TV, it is essential if you want a medium sized screen in your entertainment system.
Go buy it!
