| jacks912's Full Review: Toshiba MV13P2 13 inch TV/VCR Combo TV |
We purchased this television in the summer of 2004 for our bedroom, and by the time the fall ended, it no longer would respond to the remote. The replacement remote that was sent did not work either so it is most likely a problem with the sensor in the television set. While this wouldn't be as bad on other TVs, this television has no manual menu button. Therefore, we can no longer program the VCR, adjust the settings, or even use a sleep timer. Since the warranty after 90 days only covers parts, I would have to pay the service center for labor which would end up costing about as much as the television itself. So now, I'm stuck with a TV that I can't program and that I have to turn off when I wake up at 4 in the morning. Please don't let this be in vain; DO NOT purchase this television for yourself. As for us, we will be staying away from Toshiba all together.
