I've used a Toshiba e355(same as 350) for about 2 years now. Although the model has now been discontinued, it would still be a good buy for anyone stumbling across a used model. The Toshiba e350 is a great starter PDA.

The Toshiba e350 has very good battery life in my opinion, and is much smaller than most PDAs. For anyone looking for a basic color screen PDA, the e350 is an excellent choice. The e350 comes with Microsoft Windows Pocket PC 2003, a very stable OS, and also with Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, and a smaller version of Windows Media Player. Since the device runs Windows, you can install pretty much anything you need on the e350.

Sound from the speakers isn't the best, but it works, and there is also a headphone port which gives decent sound. The device also includes a built-in microphone, useful for quick notes.

The buttons are nothing special, but they are fully programmable to do whatever you want. I usually carry my e350 in my pocket, so I turned the feature off completely.

The screen is great, VERY bright and VERY sharp. Also very accurate when recognizing handwriting and stylus movements. As with any PDA, I'd recommend buying some protective overlays for the screen to prevent it from getting scratched up.

My biggest problem with the e350 is that I don't think you can upgrade it to use wireless internet. When I bought it I wasn't looking for the capability, and I really don't need it, but sometimes it would be nice to have.

If you find one, I'd highly recommend you snatch it up. However, the e350 is old enough where it is nothing to search for. In that case, judging from Toshiba models I have seen, I would say that Toshiba PDAs are very solid buys.
