I will keep this shorter then most reviews but I will try to explain all the things i like and dislike about it
Pros- I like the wide-screen monitor and the clear resolution on the screen.
- the key board has nice short key strokes that are fast and accurate.
- The touchpad mouse is well thought out with extra feature like scrolling even if you've ran out of room on the pad.
- the 80 gig HD holds all my movies, mp3's, and anything else i found on the internet
- the quick launch keys on the side work well, launching the internet with on key stroke
- the harmon kardon speakers are just great, good bass for such little speakers, very crisp and clear also.
- The volume control on the front of the laptop is just great, i use it almost every 5 minutes
- 3 USB ports are positioned well and easy to find
- thin design makes this laptop pretty portable and easy to crack open anywhere
- battery life is pretty good at about 3 hours
- 6.6 lbs is light for a large laptop like this one, but still a little heavy
Cons.
- The laptop gets hot! especially where you rest your left palm while tying, and gets annoying within about 20 minutes.
- Screen is un viewable in any kind of sunlight or using it outside in the day
- keyboard comes poorly put together out of the box and a few firm pushes on it are required to seat it in place
- since lap top gets hot an external mouse is necessary
- graphics in games are lagging and choppy
-a little on the heavy side
- silver case scratches easily
