First I must say, NO anti-virus program can keep you 100% safe from viruses. The user of any computer must always be diligent. However, with that said, anti-virus programs are a must today, and with a little be of vigilance on the computer users part and a program like Trend Micro's Internet Security you can be close to that 100%.

I first purchased Trend Micro’s PC Cillin back in 2000. I have used other well know virus programs, but all were difficult to use, and had many issues with crashing. Of all the ones I have used, this has always been my most reliable.

The newest version of Trend Micro’s PC Cillin ‘Internet Security’ is an update of a product that I consider to be excellent. Whether you are using it at home on one computer or (like myself) purchased a multi user platform for a small home network or for your business. You will have the reliability of a program that does an excellent job of catching viruses and preventing your computer from being infected.

Installation and setup for this program is a breeze. It is pretty straightforward and you don't need to be a tech head to run it. One of the best things I like is the program's ability to update regularly. The biggest problems with Virus programs today is that they are out of date when you install them, and most casual computer users DON’T UPDATE THE VIRUS LISTS regularly. Most of the time because they forget.

Trend Micro’s automatic update reminds you almost daily. If there is an update available, you can either have the program prompt you to update, or set it up to update automatically.

It takes about a minute and you are up to date.

There are also some nice features that come with the program (web blocking, email scan, and various logs) that are a bonus.
