Pros: Nice design. Easy to use. Clear sound.
Cons: No answering machine. No clock.
The Bottom Line: With a frequency of 2.4 Ghz, this cordless phone sounds better than my cord phone. Works well at long distances from it's base monitor.

When I moved into my home, my family had kindly donated a few cordless phones. Unfortunately, they all contained distracting static. I couldn't walk far from the base monitor, and it was difficult to hear from all the static disruption.
When I went shopping for a new cordless, the salesperson explained to me the importance of frequency. 900Mhz is nothing compared to 2.4Ghz.
With a range of 2.4Ghz or higher, you will have a clear sound. I can walk to any room within my house without disruption in sound. In fact, I even took a walk out to my mailbox and closed the door behind me. I was able to maintain a connection but with some interference. But no problem, I don't need to use the phone at such a distance with closed doors.
The phone has a smart design. It does not take up much space. The lcd display faces outward so that you can easily read the caller ID, without picking up the handset (of course, "caller ID" has to be part of your phone service plan or it won't work.)
At one point, I was receiving several calls at late hours. I was able to turn down the ring volume, and even choose the ring pattern that was most comfortable for me.
The phone does not have an answering machine, but it records the numbers of those who called with the caller ID display. Therefore, if I miss a call I can easily check with the push of one button to see which calls I missed.
Supports a flash button that makes switching lines easy. You will not accidentally disconnect when trying to switch lines to take another call.
If the phone falls behind the sofa cushions one day, don't worry - the base set has a "find handset" button that will send a signal to the handset.
