This was my first time purchasing a Fisher product. I had heard many positive comments by some of my friends about their electronics and so I felt pretty comfortable with the idea.
I was in the market for a VCR and had many options to choose from. Since I was going to be purchasing it online, I wanted to make sure that I bought something that I wouldn't have to worry about returning for whatever reason. I did my research over the course of a day. I looked at different makes and models in the price range I had set in my mind. Based upon many positive reviews by other online customers, I decided on this particular Fisher model.
It has many excellent features. It can automatically program the channels. The remote can control the TV also. It has a jog dial which is pretty neat. When you fast forward or rewind, you can hear bits of the audio track as well. Of course, it comes with VCR plus.
In this price range, I didn't really find any negatives. VCR's have become so easily affordable now, that I'm not terribly surprised to get many great features at such a reasonable price.
I would recommend this VCR to almost anyone who is in the market for a VCR. It's easily affordable and very reliable.
