| Briss's Full Review: JVC HR-S7600 S-VHS VCR |
I wanted to move up to a Super VHS and I have always had tremendous success with JVC products. This was no exception.
It has been a great VCR. I haven't had a single problem with it. In fact, since I purchased the 7600, I have bought two 4600's as gifts (I got the 7600 off Ebay for the price of a 4600). I bought the 4600's because they weren't as interested in the editing capabilities. I think, for the money, the 7600 is hard to beat. I looked at the 9600 and decided that for such a big price difference and so few additional features, that this was the VCR for me. You don't need to spend the extra money to get the 9600 even though it's a superb machine. The 7600 does more than I need it to right now, but I wanted the editing options as I am now in the market for a camcorder. That is what brought me to Epinions.com in the first place.
The 7600 goes beyond my expectations. The sound and picture quality is excellent and I have a 10 year old TV (new TV comes after camcorder). I will admit that it wasn't easy to set the clock when I took it out of the box, but I never have to mess with it after that. Every Spring and Fall the clock automatically adjusts for Daylight Savings Time. The original set-up was a little time consuming, but it's well worth it. I like to record shows and sporting events and I find the commercial skip feature truly enjoyable. It is a great feature. No boring commercials.
Anyone can buy this product. Or any of the JVC VCR's. Compare the features with your budget and just pick one. You can't go wrong. The 7600 wold be a great gift for movie buffs that enjoy good quality and sports fans that can do without all the commercials.
