Pros: Very attractive.
Cons: Disaster. Don't buy.
I wanted desperately to love this range. We purchased it in the fall of 2003, since it was the only dual fuel range that we could find that was available in 'bisque' (at the time). However, since then, everything possible has gone wrong with it, EVERYTHING.
Some examples: The electronic ignition for the burners failed.
The clock failed, the 350 degree, overload limit, internal thermostat failed, the oven thermostat that keeps the temp at the right setting failed. When the repairman came (over $500 so far) back again and again, he stated that this was the worst documented, worst designed appliance he had ever worked on. For example, the wires are too short, so if you pull off the front panel, there is no room to 'look in' and see what's going on, without pulling the wires off of the terminals. Then, the wiring diagram doesn't match the wiring, nor can you make out how to read the manual, even for cooking.
Look, I LOVE the looks of the range still, but we just gave up on it and ordered a Premier, 6 burner, ALL gas range. Look at Consumer reports and see how BADLY they rate dual fuel ranges. Our distributor was great. Eurochef even gave us many parts for free, even though the oven was long out of warranty. My wife ABSOLUTELY HATES it. I was going to try and fix it once more but she said 'That's it. I'm done.
