Does the job and is fairly inexpensive

Pros: Pros include easy breathing, no white dust and easy cleaning and maintenance of product.

Cons: You really need to clean and empty every day to avoid mold, etc.

I disagree with the previous reviewer of this product. First, please note that it IS in fact a cool-mist humidifier which would indicate a cool mist being emitted from the product causing the air to be less dry by adding needed moisture. Also, you are not supposed to have the product sitting right under you for it to work. Being that close would of course give you the chills. A humidifier should be placed at least 2 feet away from any heat source and is not meant to blow directly at you.

Cool Mist Humidifier versus Warm Mist Humidifier:

Warm Mist Humidifier ease symptoms of respiratory discomfort such as colds and flu.

Cool Mist Humidifiers help keep the body's respiratory system working more efficiently in a dry environment.

Regarding performance - Last year I had bloody noses every day from the heat in my apartment. Ever since I purchased this product I have had easy breathing and much better sleeping at night. Humidifier also does not descend a veil of white dust all over my house which is huge plus. If you you're budget is low this is a great product for the money.
