It's alright, nothing awesome. Worth what you pay.

The Bottom Line: If your replacing an "old" monitor you'll love it. Still shop around, your buck may, or may not, go further. If you have $50 more, skip it.
digital-muse's Full Review: ViewSonic A91F+ 19 inch CRT Monitor
THE BAD:
Off color in left hand bottom part of screen [the start button area, my bright green button looks olive]. Bends image of the tool bar, up, on the left hand side. Fuzzy text unless brightness is turned way down. Large foot print, that stands to tall with swivel on. Big ugly buttons on the front adds 1 1/2" to the frame. Hard to configure. Poor on-screen geometry. Awful stickers that are a HUGE pain in the a*s to remove [leaves glue, and paper behind] Very poor refresh rates, only 85hz at 800 x 600, only 75hz at 1280 x 1024, its even worse at anything higher then 1280 x 1024, only 60hz. Constantly need to adjust brightness, so much so that they put a button to help you do it faster! Outdated install disk [Adobe 4 to read the PDF install guide (current is 6 and has been for a long time)]
So why is this not a horrible buy? Most $200 - $300 19" monitors are the same, they just have a "different" set of problems.
THE GOOD:
Good colors. Not to deep for a large CRT. Gets very bright, without washing out the color. Lots of screen. Text can be sharp if brightness is turned down. Stylish look. Easy setup. Removes glare well. Static-less. The picture doesn't have a pixelated look like many do if you get up close to it. Lots of options in the menu. Swivel can be removed. Well packaged box, makes it all but impossible to get a broken monitor. Tco'99 label [uses less power then most}. Dirt Cheap.
