Pros: It is stainless steel inside and out.
Cons: machine doesn't fully drain the water, that washes the next load become putrid.
The Bottom Line: DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. IT SURPRISINGLY IS LESS EFFECTIVE THAN THE CHEAPEST DISHWASHER ONT HE MARKET.

| fiery2's Full Review: Viking Professional DFUD140 24 in. Built-in Dishwa... |
This is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I have two machines, they came with a brand new house. They both died right after the one year warranty period. Customer service is rude and refuses to even talk to me. They tell me the warranty is up and that is that. I have had to replace the touch pad on both. The replacement touch pad died within a year on both. One is now completely dead the other works intermittently. Please do not buy this it is a horrible, horrible machine. Been cooking and using dishwashers for over 25 years and this is by far the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I have a Viking stove, the builder didn't think when he bought these machines as my gas stove is not self cleaning but the viking stove is still magnificent. I suspect the builder got a deal from Viking if he also bought these dishwashers. Viking should stick to making stoves as that is their forte. If I had picked out these dishwashers myself, I never would have bought these and I'm fed up. After less than two years I am looking to replace these alleged "high end" very very expensive dishwashers...there is no excuse for this...
