| reason6's Full Review: Visioneer OneTouch 9020 Fbscan Flatbed Scanner |
The scanner itself can get some good images, but getting the images to certain programs, like Adobe, can be difficult. At first the setup seems simple but you quickly realize that the choices for destination programs is limited. It would only allow the image to be sent directly to ScanSoft Paperport, which came with it, or Microsoft programs.
The scanner has 5 buttons on the front to, in theory, transfer the scanned image to a designated program. The only destination that I have not had difficulty sending to has been Outlook Express. Some of the buttons will only work with the Scansoft program. This is a tiresome program to use.
There is a small window in the underside of the cover for placing slides. A light behind the slide makes it scanable, but the quality of the final image is poor.
