| bett1e's Full Review: Vivitar ViviCam 3620 Digital Camera |
I purchased the Vivitar 3620 in 2002 after I could not get a previous camera to work easily. The Vivitar 3620 was easy to operate for the most part. The battery door broke this year and then it stopped working altogether. Basically, the camera lasted about 2 years which is not too bad but I am in my 30's and have my calculator from the 1st grade, thus, I am very disappointed in a $200.00 camera that lasts only 2 years.
I recently (today) bought a Fuji Digital Camera. All I do is plug it in and the pictures download themselves. On the Vivitar, I had to upload them myself. Anyway, this camera probably is no longer being sold but don't count on customer service if you have it.
I had to get another camera because Vivitar charges $35.00 to discuss camera problems and, then, they will not even call you back so essentially I have been without a working camera for about a month hoping I could get Vivitar to contact me; they never did because I didn't pay the $35.00.
