It doesn't compare to my Canon G2, but as a digital to carry in my briefcase and take occasional photos on jobs, it's great. It's small enough that it doesn't take a lot of room, and it's easy to use. It eats batteries (but don't they all), but takes a good picture. Easy setup - controls are handy. Definitely worth the price for the digital beginner or for that second camera you want to have with you all the time.
