shrub8's Full Review: Vtech VT-2651 2.4 GHz - Cordless Phone
I bought this phone for its features, including the speaker phone capability from either the base unit or the handset, and the headset compatibility. I work from home and on conference calls all day long, so it's critical that I have a functioning phone. I bought mine at Comp USA, and after experiencing the same battery issues as several other people who have written reviews, I exchanged it thinking it was defective. The second one had the same issues, so I returned it as well. I called the manufacturer, and they agreed to sell me a new one directly from them, with no delivery charges, and at about $25 less than I had paid at Comp USA. I really liked the features, and hadn't been able to find them in any other cordless phone, so wanted to give it one last try. The one I got directly from Vtech has been perfect - no issues. I'm on the phone sometimes 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, and have loved this phone - have been using it for the last six or seven months. I don't know if the ones at the retail store had simply been on the shelf too long, but by getting it directly from the manufacturer, there were no issues. I would highly recommend it.
