I received this waffle maker for a bridal shower gift. It wasn't the one I'd put on my registry, but decided to go ahead and use it anyway-with an open mind. After carefully reading the seasoning instructions (which were difficult to discern from the actual cooking instructions) I began to make a batch of waffles at the recommended setting, using the recommended amount of batter. The timer went off too soon, and the waffle wasn't cooked through. As it turns out, more batter should have been used. The waffle (and subsequent waffles) did not cook evenly-even leaving raw batter inside, while the top of the waffle was nearly burnt. The waffles stuck to the top and bottom-even with a generous amount of non-stick spray. The plastic spatula they advise you to use did nothing to remove my monstrosity of a waffle...I finally had to use a fork. I wish I could insert a picture of the finished product-it was a complete disaster!!!
